Policies and Guidelines
- Renter must be 25 years old with a valid drivers license.
- Renter must be present during drop off and pickup. The trailer will not be dropped off unless the primary renter responsible for the trailer is present.
- No Smoking - Including vape pens.
- No drugs.
- No pets.
- No climbing on the trailer roof.
- In an effort to minimize potential accidents, we ask that you keep the trailer occupancy to the number of individuals agreed upon during booking. If you choose to allow guests inside the trailer, you take full responsibility for any damage they might cause.
- No cooking of messy or strong odor foods inside the trailer. Examples include fish (any kind), bacon, fatty meats, etc. We provide Blackstone griddles along with propane for outdoor cooking. We like the trailer to smell good for each and every renter so we appreciate your cooperation with cooking guidelines.
- We have a 3-night minimum and some Holidays have a 4-Night minimum (Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years). Seasonal rates also apply to peak Holidays.
- No pickup or drop off allowed on peak Holidays.
- Security deposit must be paid prior to the start of your trip.
- Tow vehicle (if towing) must be equipped with a brake controller and within safe towing specifications. Renters must also agree to tow the trailer at safe posted speeds the entire trip.
- Once a trailer is delivered, it is not to be moved without permission from SoCal Trailer Rentals.
- Cancellation Policy: Renters are entitled to a full refund for all cancellations made at least 45 days prior to the rental start date. Renters are entitled to a 50% refund for all cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the rental start date and any cancellation made with less than 14 days prior to the rental start date, the booking will be non-refundable. A 24-hour cancellation grace period is given to all bookings made at least 7 days prior to the rental start date. For all bookings made within 7 days of the rental start date, a 1-hour grace period is given. If a booking is cancelled during a grace period, a full refund will be granted.
- SoCal Trailer Rentals, LLC is not responsible for campground reservations. No refunds will be given for campsite reservation errors and its the responsibility of the renter to make sure the reserved location can accommodate the trailer rented. This includes but isn't limited to size, width and height which will be provided during the booking process.
Insurance & Forms
- We provide commercial insurance for all rented trailers.
- If you wish to tow one of our units, you must purchase additional liability insurance through our provider. Instructions on purchasing insurance is listed below. The fees listed on the attached document are ONLY for if you are towing using your personal vehicle. Insurance is provided for all units being delivered at no additional fee.
