Your questions answered
Q. Does the trailer include all the cleaning supplies I need?
A. Yes, I provide all the necessary supplies needed to return the trailer in the same condition it was delivered which is all I ask. I provide (2) rolls of paper towels for the weekend trips and add to that as the trips get longer. If you feel like you use more paper towels than most please feel free to bring your own.
Q. Can I bring my own toilet paper?
A. No, I provide plenty of RV toilet paper and ask the renters to use only what I provide. Using any other toilet paper other than what I provide could cause clogs and lead to excessive damage fees charged at the end of your trip.
Q. Can I extend or reduce the number of nights rented?
A. Of course! As long as the request can be accommodated and the trailer is available we have no problem extending your stay. We also don't mind reducing the number of nights as long as its 1) done in a timely manner (see SRA for cancellation rules) and 2)it's not done after your trip has commenced.
Q. Do I need to be there for drop off and pick up?
A. Yes, the primary renter on the agreement (responsible party) must be present during drop off and pickup. The renter must also provide a current drivers license to verify ID and age. It's important the primary renter is available during drop off as we ask the renter to sign the departure form detailing the current condition of the vehicle.
Q. I've never rented before, what do I need to bring?
A. If you look under the trailer and pricing section it will document most all items that are included. In short, we provide most everything needed for glamping. Linens, towels, etc are all provided for the main bedrooms, but you'll need bedding for the bunks, drop down beds, etc. We also provide the essentials for cooking, but as detailed several times, we prefer outdoor cooking to avoid excessive cleaning fees. If you are a coffee drinker, please feel free to bring your own K-Cups as we do provide a Keurig machine. We provide dish soap, hand soap and cleaning supplies.
Q. I've never towed a trailer before, is it difficult?
A. This question is very subjective as the answer can be yes and no. Good towing skills are only acquired with a lot of practice and while we offer small options that are light weight and easily towed, some towing experience is required to rent our trailers. We offer delivery for anyone that isn't experienced or comfortable towing a trailer.
Q. Can I bring pets?
A. Unfortunately, we don't allow most pets in our units due to allergy considerations for other guests. It also eliminates excessive cleaning fees and drastically reduces the chance of potential accidents or damage to furniture.
Q. What are some trailer etiquette 101 rules?
A. The first few that come to mind are the big ones that cause a lot of damage and are easily preventable. 1. Always close the awning when its windy or not being used. This means when you go to bed as well. Awning damage with the newer trailers are almost always over your security deposit which means a lot more money out of your pocket or an insurance claim. 2. When using the toilet just remember two basic principals. Only use RV approved toilet paper and use lots of water. No paper towels, feminine products, wipes, etc. Just RV toilet paper. Little more on the odd side, but make sure little kids don't drop any GI Joes or toys down the tank. 3. As high end as some of these units are, they are still made to be towed, which means they try and make them as light as possible. Assume that the furniture and fixtures are not made as strong as at home. Make sure kids don't jump, bounce or wrestle on the furniture as it could break.
